Please do not be afraid to approach a police officer and ask for help. Police officers are public servants and can be trusted. They will not ask you for money and if you are lost, do not hesitate to ask for directions.

Safety Tips:

  • Let a friend know where you are going and when you are supposed to be back OR try the buddy system

  • Make sure to look both ways when crossing the street

  • Wear a helmet if you are biking, skiing, snowboarding, etc

  • By law you must wear a seat belt in the USA

  • Do not drink and drive!

  • Please remember to contact your sponsor if you need additional assistance!

COVID 19 Tips:

  • Social distance as much as you can. Wear a cloth face covering if you can't social distance.

  • Wash hands often. Bring hand sanitizer and disposable disinfecting wipes with you when you travel in case you do not have soap and water to wash your hands.

  • Try not to touch things other people touch. When you travel, you may want to use a disposable tissue or napkin to touch things like handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, etc.

  • Try to use vendors and accommodations that take steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their business.
