COVID 19

With the recent spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), please keep up to date with information on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization, and the U.S. Department of State websites.

Coronavirus is a highly infectious virus which is spread from person-to-person contact. When out in public, you can take precautions to protect yourself by:

  • Wearing a face mask which covers your nose and mouth.

  • Washing your hands frequently with hot water and soap for a minimum of 20 seconds at a time.

  • Using hand-sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.

If you have concerns, please be sure to contact your sponsor in the USA for assistance!

Police Officers in the U.S.:

Please do not be afraid to approach a police officer and ask for help. Police officers are public servants and can be trusted. They will not ask you for money and if you are lost, do not hesitate to ask for directions.

Safety Tips:

  • Let a friend know where you are going and when you are supposed to be back OR try the buddy system

  • Make sure to look both ways when crossing the street

  • Wear a helmet if you are biking, skiing, snowboarding, etc

  • By law you must wear a seat belt in the USA

  • Do not drink and drive!

  • Please remember to contact your sponsor if you need additional assistance!
